BNP Paribas Taps SG For London Structured Products Sales Head

BNP Paribas's equity and derivatives business has appointed Stephane Goursat as head of sales of structured products for UK, Ireland and South Africa. He will be based in London, reporting to Jean-Eric Pacini, head of structured products sales for the London EQD platform. Mr Goursat joins BNP Paribas after four years building up regional business for Societe Generale in London. At BNP Paribas, he will run three teams, all of strategic focus for the bank in the year ahead: private and retail banks, own account clients and fund of fund managers. He will have an additional role in respect of the London EQD platform: to help meet BNP Paribas's aggressive targets for the fund derivatives business. In this capacity, he reports to Stephane Liot, global head of fund derivatives.
